Terms of Service
These Terms govern access to and use of Loreto Sites, a website creation, publishing, hosting coordination, and support platform operated by Loreto Media LLC.
Last updated: June 10, 2026
This template gives Loreto Media LLC a much stronger starting point, but it should be reviewed by counsel before paid launch or enterprise use.
Agreement
These Terms are an agreement between Loreto Media LLC, doing business as Loreto Sites, and the person or organization accessing or using Loreto Sites. If you use Loreto Sites on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
By creating an account, requesting a demo, starting an import, using the platform, or continuing to use the service after an update, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy, the Acceptable Use Policy, and any order form or plan terms that apply.
The service
Loreto Sites helps Catholic organizations prepare, review, publish, and maintain websites. Features may include website import, assisted drafting, structured editing, media uploads, forms, bulletins, event and staff tools, analytics views, domain guidance, deployment coordination, support, and billing workflows.
We may modify, add, suspend, or discontinue features. We will try to give reasonable notice for material changes that affect paid Customers.
Accounts and authority
You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Customer administrators are responsible for assigning appropriate roles and removing access when users no longer need it.
Customers are responsible for confirming that their users are authorized to approve content, publish changes, manage billing, configure domains, connect giving links, upload assets, and submit support requests.
Customer content
Customers own or retain the rights they have in their content. By uploading, submitting, importing, or publishing content through Loreto Sites, Customers grant Loreto Media LLC a limited license to host, copy, process, display, transmit, modify, and use that content as needed to provide and improve the service, support the Customer, and comply with these Terms.
Customers represent that they have all rights, permissions, licenses, consents, and notices needed for the content they provide, including photos, logos, bulletins, school information, staff information, ministry information, parish schedules, donor or giving links, student or minor information, and third-party materials.
Customers are responsible for reviewing all drafts, generated suggestions, imports, schedules, links, and published pages for accuracy, legality, pastoral appropriateness, and completeness before publication.
Assisted and imported content
Loreto Sites may use automated tools, crawlers, extractors, and third-party model providers to import public website content, classify information, draft pages, suggest edits, summarize bulletins, or prepare website updates. These outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable.
Assisted and imported content is provided for Customer review. Customers must verify names, dates, Mass times, sacramental information, school information, giving links, legal notices, and all other important content before publishing.
Customer Sites
Customers are responsible for the content, accessibility, privacy notices, form notices, copyright compliance, images, links, embedded services, donation links, and legal obligations of their Customer Sites.
Loreto Sites may provide tools or default language to help Customers operate websites, but Customers remain responsible for confirming that their own website content and public notices fit their organization, location, audience, and legal obligations.
Domains, email, and third-party services
Domain setup depends on domain registrars, DNS providers, hosting providers, certificate authorities, email providers, and other third parties. We provide guidance and support, but we do not control third-party systems and cannot guarantee immediate propagation, uninterrupted domain resolution, or third-party availability.
Loreto Sites checks email-related records before guided setup where possible and does not intentionally change email records unless requested or approved. Customers remain responsible for verifying DNS, email, donation, analytics, and third-party integrations before and after launch.
Subscriptions, fees, and taxes
Paid plans, pricing, billing intervals, included services, and launch terms are shown at checkout, in an order form, or in a written agreement. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
Customers authorize us and our payment processor to charge applicable fees, taxes, and renewal amounts. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated in writing. We may suspend or limit access for late payment, failed payment, chargebacks, or suspected payment fraud.
Acceptable use
You must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy. You may not use Loreto Sites to violate law, infringe rights, compromise security, send spam, distribute malware, exploit minors, publish deceptive content, or interfere with the platform or other users.
We may remove content, disable features, suspend access, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to protect the service, Customers, visitors, third parties, or Loreto Media LLC.
Privacy and data protection
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information. Customers are responsible for providing any privacy notices, cookie notices, consents, and data processing instructions required for their own Customer Sites and users.
If a separate data processing agreement is required for a Customer, it must be agreed in writing by Loreto Media LLC.
Intellectual property
Loreto Media LLC and its licensors own Loreto Sites, including the software, workflows, templates, designs, platform copy, documentation, and service technology. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Loreto Sites or its underlying technology.
Customers may use exported or published website content that they own, subject to payment obligations and any third-party license restrictions. Customers may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, or use Loreto Sites to build a competing service except as allowed by law.
Confidentiality
Each party may receive non-public information from the other. The receiving party will use reasonable care to protect confidential information and will use it only for the purposes of the relationship, except where disclosure is required by law or authorized by the disclosing party.
Disclaimers
Loreto Sites is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, Loreto Media LLC disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, error-free operation, and accuracy of imported, generated, third-party, or Customer-provided content.
Loreto Sites is not legal, tax, financial, canonical, pastoral, educational compliance, cybersecurity, or accessibility counsel. Customers should consult qualified advisors for those matters.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Loreto Media LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, donations, or business opportunities.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Loreto Media LLC's total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the amounts paid by the Customer to Loreto Media LLC for the service giving rise to the claim during the three months before the event giving rise to liability, or one hundred dollars if no fees were paid.
Indemnity
Customers will defend and indemnify Loreto Media LLC from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from Customer content, Customer Sites, breach of these Terms, violation of law, infringement or misuse of third-party rights, or use of the service by Customer users.
Suspension and termination
Customers may stop using Loreto Sites or cancel according to their plan or order terms. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, nonpayment, legal risk, security risk, abuse, or discontinuation of the service.
After termination, Customer access may end and Customer Sites may be unpublished unless otherwise agreed. We may retain certain records as described in the Privacy Policy.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless a written agreement with Loreto Media LLC says otherwise. The parties will try in good faith to resolve disputes informally before filing a claim.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and each party consents to those courts, except where applicable law requires a different venue.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify Customers. Continued use after an update means the updated Terms apply.
